Quick Post Op/Pre Op 

I was about 20 minutes early to my appointment which was scheduled for 145pm. Almost as soon as I sat down in the waiting room, my name was called and I went to an exam room. It only took another 2 minutes for the doctor to get there. We spoke for a bit, he examined the incision (which had healed nicely) and I then went to the x ray room for another few images of my right hip. I got back to my car about 150pm. ................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................ It would be nice if the right hip operation goes as smoothly.

Strange Banking Story - on my first day driving after surgery 

It was my first day driving after the 22 July surgery. I did some work at a mashgiach job then went to the bank to deposit a check that I was unable to deposit thru the Well Fargo banking ap. The check was made to our dentist who signed it over to me (as it was an insurance reimbursement) and the amount of the check was in a very small font. I got to the banking counter and they told me that in order to deposit the check at the counter I would need the Dentist to come to the bank with me and have his ID with him. I gulped and was obviously distressed. ....................................................................................................................................................................................................................................... Then they told me that, if I didn't mind using the ATM machine in the lobby, I could deposit the check without the dentist being available. Of course I did that. Image shows the power of the ATM.

Tamar and Oz back in Israel 

Don't be upset with the image it is explained below. Tamar and Oz left on Sunday 11 Aug and landed the evening of 12 Aug. We spoke to them today. Everything went fine with each of the connectons and the ride from the airport to her apartment. They had an invite to visit someone in Nentanya today and they were there when we spoke to them. ....................................................................................................................................................................................................................................... Someone at BWI was speaking to Oz and asked him, "What is your favorite part of flying?" Oz responded, "I like it when the plane doesn't crash." "Me too" said the other person.

Surgery Bandage Off 

There were actually two bandages and the outer one was supposed to come off a week ago. But the Physical Therapist took both off today. ............................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................. Impressively, the 'cut', was only about 4 inches long (the length of the scab).
