The minimum temperature that morning was in the single digits F, the 6th morning like that in January in our vicinity. However, we actually had only a modest amount of snow, perhaps 10" in total from 4 small and one medium storms.
Update Feb 4 - Maryland has now deployed ice breakers in the Chesapeake Bay.
