Reseach Dream 

I dreamt that I was in charge of a research organization.

I was going over the results of efforts by individual scientists with my department heads.

In the dream, I had a chart of each person's activities, month by month. Each person had several big red Xs where they had declared research at a dead end. The red Xs were pretty close together meaning at least that the scientist hadn't wasted much time.

As one of my department heads was explaining the latest failed effort, I woke up.

Someone liked my shoes 

I was working at the Charles E Smith Jewish Day School supervising kashrut. 

During the day I went into the dining area just to scan things and see if anyone had brought in anything obviously not kosher.

One girl, about 12, said she liked my shoes. I was wearing an inexpensive pair of running shoes somewhat similar to that in the image (but with white laces). 

Seemed like a pretty random comment but I said 'thanks' anyway.

Bad Day for a Cat 

It was a tough day for Katrina.

She didn't get any food after midnight.

She was put in a carrier and taken in a car ride.

She was poked and prodded at the vet.

She was so unhappy at the vet that she climbed into her carrier but she cried on the ride home.

She got her food back but the next day there was vacuum cleaning which always annoys her.

Fortunately, the bed was comfortable.

A Dream Product 

Last night I had a dream that I was in charge of a new product of the Coca Cola company.

The product was a hot beverage that was brewed like coffee but used only a small amount of coffee bean mix and got the rest of its flavor from Coke syrup.

There was a demonstration brewing and tasting at a place that looked like a Starbucks so this might have been a joint venture or strategic alliance.

Anyway, the first person who had a sip liked it but then I woke up.

In the image are bottles and cans of Cocacola Blak which is a cold carbonated coffee flavored product. Based on info from Wikipedia, it is still sold in Europe but no longer available in the US. The product has about half the calories of the same size regular Coke but twice the caffeine.

Shoe Dream 

According to a dream dictionary, dreaming of lost shoes means you are going to make a big change in your life or something

Well, in my dream, Ann and I were in a nice hotel room. I could find one of my shoes but not the other one.

Ann said, "well, where were you last time you had your shoes"

Then I went to the hotel info desk and asked them if someone had turned in some shoes.

Then I woke up.
